As members of the Central Mississippi Emergency Medical Services District, The Neshoba County Ambulance Service provides 24-hour service for Neshoba County. Located within Neshoba General, we cover the county with 3 ambulances staffed with a paramedic and basic EMT 24-hours per day, and we have an extra ambulance staffed daily from 10:00 am – 6:00 pm.
These ambulances are available around the clock, ready to swing into action in the event of an emergency. Staff members respond to calls immediately and will arrive promptly to get you to our hospital safely.
You should call for an ambulance if:
- Someone’s condition is life threatening
- Someone’s condition could get worse or become life threatening on the way to the hospital
- Moving the victim could result in further injury
- Someone needs service from a trained paramedic or emergency medical professional
Even if you are unsure whether these conditions apply to your situation, it is always better to be safe than sorry and to call an ambulance if you think there is a chance that the victim’s condition is life threatening.
