Full-time employees of Neshoba General have access to a competitive benefits package. PTO: Vacation, Sick, Holiday
184 hours per year, up to a maximum accrual of 224 hours based on tenure and hours paid - accrued PTO available after 6 months of uninterrupted full-time employment.
Dental Insurance
Coverage is effective the first of the month following 30 days of full-time employment.
Health Insurance
Coverage is effective the first of the month following 30 days of full-time employment.
Vision Insurance
Coverage is effective the first of the month following 30 days of full-time employment.
Life Insurance
$10,000 term policy, with premium paid by the Facility for full-time employees.
Long Term Disability Insurance
Full-time employees will be covered by a long term disability insurance
policy paid for by the facility.
Employee Discounts
Employees and their dependents covered by another health insurance (other
than the facility's health insurance) shall be eligible to receive a 50%
discount on the unpaid balance after the insurance has paid. Employees
and their dependents not covered by any health insurance shall be eligible
to receive a 50% discount on the total bill. These discounts shall be
applied when the employee' s portion of the bill has been paid. For those
employees covered by the facility's health insurance, the discount is
built into the insurance payment.
Tax-Deferred
Full-time employees are eligible to participate in a tax deferred, interest-earning annuity program, MS Deferred Compensation Plan 457(b). Contributions may be from $25 per month up to $24,500 annually or $32,500 if age 50 or older.
The Board has approved a new matching retirement plan contribution program for eligible full-time employees who contribute to their individual MS Deferred Compensation Plan 457(b) retirement plan. The matching contribution program will be a dollar for dollar match up to the max percentage defined as follows:
- Up to 4% matching contribution for eligible full-time employees with less than 10 years of service.
- Up to 5% matching contribution for eligible full-time employees with greater than 10 years of service.
- Up to 6% matching contribution for eligible full-time employees with greater than 20 years of service.
The employer matching contribution will go in the 401a employer sponsored retirement plan with Empower.
